The Arkansas Cattlemen’s Graduate Course (ACGC) is an advanced leadership program designed exclusively for graduates of the Arkansas Cattlemen’s Leadership Course (ACLC). ACGC builds on the foundation set by ACLC and equips participants with deeper knowledge in policy, industry issues, and association leadership.

Through a series of in-depth sessions, participants explore the inner workings of ACA, strengthen their communication and advocacy skills, and engage directly with state and national decision-makers. This program is ideal for individuals looking to take the next step in their leadership journey and become long-term advocates for Arkansas's beef industry.

 

Program Overview

• Open to ACLC graduates only

• Two-year program

• Approximately 4 participants are selected annually

• Numerous sessions held across the year

• Sessions typically include one overnight stay and take place during the week

• Graduation held at ACA’s Convention & Trade Show in odd-numbered years

• Relationship-building with policymakers and stakeholders

 

Expectations

Participants are expected to attend all sessions, contribute actively to discussions, and continue representing ACA in a leadership capacity after completing the course. This is a time and financial commitment, but one that pays dividends in personal growth and professional connections.
