ACA Membership Guidelines
ACA Structure:

Any person actively engaged in the business of cattle production in Arkansas is eligible for active membership.

Full member benefits (voting, holding office, etc.)

Any person not actively engaged in the business of cattle production but interest in the industry may join as an associate member
-
Partial benefits (not eligible to vote or hold office)

Memberships:
-
Annual dues are $100
-
$15 of that stays at the county level
-
-
Dual membership is available for counties outside of your residence for $15
-
Associate memberships range from $100-$10,000
Programs:
-
Top Hand - Top Hand status can be reached by recruiting fifteen new members or thirty renewals. These memberships must come in with a specific signed by at the time of renewal/purchase. Top Hand recipients will receive their choice of a belt buckle, jacket, vest, or convention registration.

105% Program - The county awards program will be 105%. For a county to be eligible, it must meet at least four times a year and reach 105% of its previous membership year number, through any combination of renewals and new members. The county with the top percentage of renewals will receive $500, and then all counties will split the remainder of the budgeted $5,000

Priefert S0191 Chute Recruitment - A drawing for the chute will occur at the ACA Annual Convention. To be entered, counties must recruit 105% of their previous membership year's membership for one entry. For the county with the highest overall percentage gets one more entry.

Recruiter Rewards - Prizes for every member who recruits one, five, and ten members to encourage recruiting at any level.

Recruit 1 member: ACA decal

Recruit 5 members: ACA logo 5x7 spiral notebook

Recruit 10 members: Metal ACA license plate

Top Recruiter of the Year - Top Recruiter will receive a gift card.

Membership Drawing - when a member pays their active membership they will be added to a drawing for a ACA logo pocket knife. Drawings will take place July-Dec., Jan.-Feb., March-April, May-June.
Reminders:
-
Membership drive deadline is June 30. All members must be postmarked by that date.

If a member passes away or a business closes in your county during the previous year please alert the state office by June 1, so that membership goals can be changed. If not informed by June 1, the membership goal will not be changed.

If a previously active member paid their dues within the last three years, they will by considered a renewal. If they haven't paid their dues in 4+ years, they will be considered a new member.

Designate the membership as active or associate. Only active members can vote and serve as officers.

Verify that the member's information is present and correct: name, mailing address, phone number and email address.

Dual members will not be credited as recruited signed by.
