Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association Hosts Arkansas Beef Quiz Bowl Finals - Fayetteville FFA Takes Home Championship
FORT SMITH, Ark. — Arkansas youth put their beef industry knowledge to the test during the 2026 Arkansas Beef Quiz Bowl, with the championship round taking place during the Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association Convention & Trade Show in Fort Smith.
Fayetteville FFA and Nevada County 4-H advanced to the championship round, which was held during lunch on the Convention Trade Show floor. In front of cattle producers, families and industry representatives from across the state, the two teams competed head-to-head, with Fayetteville FFA earning the 2026 Beef Quiz Bowl championship title and Nevada County 4-H finishing as runner-up.
Sponsored by the Arkansas Beef Council, the Beef Quiz Bowl is an educational competition designed to challenge young people on their knowledge of beef cattle and the beef industry.
Teams compete in a fast-paced format, answering questions covering topics such as cattle production, animal science, beef nutrition, food safety, beef products, industry terminology and the Beef Checkoff. The competition requires participants to combine their individual knowledge with teamwork and quick thinking.
Moving the championship round to the ACA Convention provided an opportunity to showcase the competitors and their knowledge directly to members of Arkansas’ cattle industry. Holding the finals during lunch on the Trade Show floor also gave convention attendees the opportunity to watch and support the young competitors.
Both Fayetteville FFA and Nevada County 4-H demonstrated strong preparation and an impressive understanding of the beef industry throughout the competition.
The Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association and the Arkansas Beef Council congratulate Fayetteville FFA on earning the 2026 championship and Nevada County 4-H on its runner-up finish.
ACA also thanks the Arkansas Beef Council for sponsoring the Beef Quiz Bowl and supporting educational opportunities that help young people expand their knowledge of beef production and the beef industry.
Through programs like the Beef Quiz Bowl, ACA and the Arkansas Beef Council continue working together to educate and engage the next generation of Arkansas agriculture.
